  • Multiplaz is the only company worldwide that holds a Patent for this unique welding technology by use of a water-alcohol solution instead of shielding gas. It is the first company to utilize ordinary tap water for heating materials by turning the water into plasma 14400°F (8000°C).
  • Multiplaz’s creative team of scientists discovered the right concentration of alcohol during the long years of research. This process fluid, under the influence of an electric arc, creates a protective neutral medium for welding.
  • Though this medium cannot completely replace the absolutely inert gas (for example, argon), it makes it possible to successfully weld most jobs where a non-oxidizing or protective atmosphere is necessary.
  • It is important to note that some vapors at the periphery of the jet remain chemically unchanged. This provides the ecological shielding of the process and protection of the operator from welding or cutting emissions.

  • The use of ordinary tap water as a basic process fluid for plasma cutting, coupled with the design of the torch creates a cleaner plasma, literally creating oxygen as it works.
  • The use of diluted water with clean Isopropyl and Ethel alcohol in concentrations of 50/60/70%, provides a plasma vapor shield without any shielding gas, eliminating those harmful gas fumes. The plasma flame surrounded by the steam “shirt” in the weld area forcibly weighs down micron particles, (similar to a high-pressure hose forcibly watering down an active dusty area), while disintegrating microscopic metal particles from the plasma. This effectively forces away and eliminates many particles from the operator’s respiratory system.
  • Indeed, it is the usage of alcohol, versus traditional shielding gas and other methods of shielding currently in use with welding processes that provide a safer exposure to an operator’s respiratory system.

Science shows no welding or cutting tool is 100% safe, yet science and physics show the Multiplaz patented technology should be the safest system for working in unventilated areas or ventilated areas.
  • It should be noted that Multiplaz does not claim to eliminate 100% of particles under the steam “shirt” process while welding or cutting. The potential still exists that some particulate could enter into an operator’s respiratory system. The steam “shirt” method eliminates and reduces many micron particles arising from the processing of the metals, providing a larger degree of protection to the immediate respiratory area.
  • Still, health agencies routinely recommend it better to use ventilation sources when welding or cutting with any system whenever possible.
  • Operators should acknowledge that some gases and particles cannot be easily seen or smelled, that emanate from the consumable electrode or filler rod, in conjunction with a material. These particles can be as small as .01 micron to 1 micron and are carried in the air, and if breathed into the respiratory system can lodge in the lung becoming respiratory irritants.

    The Multiplaz 3500 uses ordinary water from any plumbing source, well or reservoir for its operation.
  • Multiplaz uses the simplest alcohol solution for welding. It keeps the operational process cost down. The amazing technology with just 3 ounces of diluted alcohol, depending on metal thickness, allows an operator to plasma weld for 20 to 30 minutes, and with water, plasma cut for 12-20 minutes.
  • Multiplaz operator health concerns are reduced by the lack of inert gas being used, and the technology delivery eliminates many extraordinary micro-particulum released, making it by far more health friendly to users.  The Multiplaz 3500 uses 230/115 V residential power and does not require an industrial power supply. Its power consumption is similar to home electric appliances.

  • This feature allows you to melt even thick 12-inch (300 mm) metal to the depth of up to 7/16 inch (10 mm), weld thin plates of 1/64 inch (0.5 mm) to thick ones, surfacing metal on bulk parts and solder tool steels.
